CMOS logic

4000 series CMOS logic integrated circuits have the advantages of wide power supply range (3-15 V) and low power consumption, making them ideal for battery operation.

In all CMOS circuits, you need to provide power supply decoupling, connecting 47 F or 100 F capacitors across the power supply close to the power supply pins of the integrated circuits themselves.

All the inputs of a CMOS integrated circuit must be connected either to HIGH or LOW.
